Who this covers

This policy covers Katy Appliance Removal (“we”, “us”) and this website. We are an appliance removal and haul-away service working across Katy and Greater Houston, Texas.

What we collect

Only what you type, upload or send us. When you book a pickup we collect your name, phone number, street address, city and ZIP code, which appliance it is and its condition, any photos you choose to attach, and any notes you write. If you use the chat assistant on this site we keep the messages you send and, if you give them, the name, phone number and address you enter in the chat. If you call or text us we keep the phone number and the content of that conversation. Our web host records ordinary server logs, including IP address and browser type, as part of delivering the site.

What we do NOT do

We do not run Google Analytics, Google Ads tags, Google Tag Manager, the Meta pixel, session recording, or any third-party advertising or tracking script on this site. We do not buy or sell personal information. We do not build advertising profiles. There is no cookie consent banner here because there is nothing to consent to — the site sets no tracking cookies. The only measurement we run is a first-party pageview count: the site stores a random ID in your browser and records the page you viewed, the site you arrived from, and your window width, so the owner can see how many people visited. It carries no name, phone number or address, and it is not shared with anyone.

Why we use it

To reply to you, put your pickup on the route, tell you which day the truck is coming, complete the removal, and keep records of the jobs we have booked and completed. Nothing more.

Photos you send us

Photos you attach to a booking are used to identify the appliance, work out whether it needs to be taken apart, and plan the lift. We will not publish a photo of your property in our gallery, on social media, or in any advertising without asking you first. If you would like a photo deleted, tell us and we will delete it.

Calls and texts

If you give us your phone number, you agree we may call and text you about your request and your pickup — including by automated dialing systems and prerecorded or artificial (AI) voice. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. Your mobile number, your opt-in, and any text-message consent data are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers who make the business run — our website host, our email provider, our phone and text messaging provider, and the software provider that operates our booking, chat and dispatch system — and only so they can deliver those services to us. This site also loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request your browser makes for those font files. We also share information where the law requires it. That is the entire list.

How long we keep it

Bookings and job records are kept for as long as we may need them for the work, our accounts, and our records. Ask us to delete your information and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

Your choices

Do Not Track

Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because this site does not track visitors across websites in the first place, we take no separate action when we receive one.

Children

This site is meant for adults arranging a pickup at a property. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes

If this policy changes we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
